A main aim of education during the teenage years is to form students’ critical thinking. ISK correlates academic education with skills which are important in everyday life, in society, and at work.

The International school of Kazan is a candidate school* for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and Diploma Programme. We are pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

ISK'S Secondary School program is designed for students aged 11 to 18. Students study the following subjects:

  • - English language and literature

  • - Russian language and literature, or Russian acquisition

  • - Individuals and societies

  • - Sciences

  • - Mathematics

  • - Arts

  • - Physical and health education

  • - Design

We are offering an international curriculum with English as a primary language of instruction.
How to enroll

We admit children from 3 to 11 years old.

Before enrollment a child is invited for individual placement testing. During this meeting psychologist identifies cognitive abilities and vocations of the future student.
